La Jolie Ferme is the third project in the "LES FERMES DU PLANET" program, located in the heart of Morzine village.
PRESENTATION OF THE VILLAGE/REGION
Located halfway between Mont Blanc and Lake Geneva, at an altitude of 1000 meters, the ski resort of Morzine is nestled in a mountain setting, between forests and peaks. It cultivates the gentle way of life and the authentic charm of a French Alpine village that has lost none of its Upper Savoyard character.
Morzine the authentic, huddled around its small postcard village, with its wooden chalets and its typical slate roofs, rubs shoulders with its close neighbor Avoriaz the visionary, anchored a little higher up on its rocky spur. Morzine Avoriaz was born from their alliance. A perfectly complementary double destination.
At the heart of the Portes du Soleil ski area and therefore much more than a destination, it is above all an art of living: a French art of living, an art of living in the mountains, the art of making and passing on memories and moments shared from generation to generation.
Morzine is a village rich in history and heritage. Before it was known for its winter sports, it was renowned for its slate production, which was used more commonly than today for roofing.
